Signing off for 2020 with a sense of gratitude
Well, we’ve made it to the end of the year and I’m signing off with a deep sense of gratitude. Despite everything that’s happened during this strange and tumultuous time, I’ve been surrounded by some incredible people who’ve continued to help, encourage and inspire me. I’d like to thank a few people in particular for their support in 2020, without whom this crazy year would have been even more challenging! I’ll be starting the holiday season with food and family around a solstice fire in the garden: taking a moment to reflect on 2020 and look forward to the year ahead. Whatever your plans, I hope you too can take a moment to rest and reflect over the coming weeks, and wish you all happy and peaceful holidays.
A big thank you to…
Paul Browne from Meaningful communications for his valuable strategic guidance and business development support.
Brian Robinson of Property Elite for his mentoring and support in developing new competencies.
My business coach Marion Ellis for helping transform my confidence: showing me how to identify my core values, run a business with flow and be the full version of myself in work and life.
Copywriter Safiya Juma for her blog support and helping me communicate my skills and values in a meaningful way.
Matt Shearing for his design and marketing support and helping me create a beautiful website.
My Virtual Assistant Heather Laybourne, without whom I would not be as well organised!
All the people at my BNI Nightingale weekly networking group for the great conversations and business referrals.
George Cselko for our inspiring 7am monthly networking meetings.
Brené Brown for her insightful podcasts on leadership and vulnerability.
Gabrielle Roth’s Five Rhythms teachers in London for the fun and therapeutic dances.
Contact Improvisation founder Steve Paxton and the London CI community for conscious movement that’s vital and creative.
And last but not least, my wife Kathy and daughter Jemima for their ongoing love and support…
See you all in 2021!
Warmly,
Roo
